La Farge

We have three stylish, tastefully furnished bedrooms for Bed and Breakfast guests. Each bedroom also has its own bathroom. We charge 65 € per room per night. Included in the price is a splendid breakfast served in the morning at a time to suit you. Four-course evening meals are also available. We are delighted to welcome guests into our home and you are free to come and go as much as you please. We hope that you will enjoy staying in La Farge as much as we do!

La Maison was completely renovated and refurbished in 2002. Although the house had been neglected for several years before our arrival, many of the original features have now been restored and the stylish, elegant decor blends beautifully with the charming, rustic character of the house. We are open all year round and the whole house is kept warm during the cooler months with gas central heating and two wood burners.

As well as the three Bed & Breakfast bedrooms, a luxuriously furnished lounge, which opens directly into the garden, is set aside for the sole use of guests. The room has a traditional oak-beam ceiling, a cosy wood burner and lots of comfy seating. Books and CDs have been provided for your enjoyment - or you could play Hélène’s piano!

Our three Bed & Breakfast bedrooms have been individually decorated and furnished, as well as retaining their original oak beams and honey-coloured floorboards. Each has its own attractive bathroom with first-class shower and/or bath fittings.

Each bedroom sleeps two people. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second has a double bed and the third has twin beds - and all the beds have hypoallergenic bedding. For added comfort, mosquito screens have been fitted to the bedroom windows allowing you to open the windows and let the beautiful country air flood in, whilst keeping stray flies and mosquitoes out!

A continental breakfast awaits you in the morning and is served in our farmhouse-style kitchen, and at a time to suit you. Subject to minimum notice of 36 hours, four-course evening meals are also available - and an aperitif, wine & coffee are all included in the price (32.50 € per person). We are always happy to make suggestions about things to see and do during your holiday - all you have to do is ask! And when you’re not out and about exploring, you are welcome to relax in our south-west facing garden. You can sunbathe by the pool, relax with a good book or simply doze in the dappled shade of our walnut, lime and beech trees. Whatever your preference, there are tables and chairs in several different areas of the garden, so you can be as solitary or as sociable as you like.

All Bed and Breakfast guests are welcome to use our private swimming pool and pool towels can be supplied. If you choose to cater for yourself at lunchtime or in the evening, an "outside" fridge has been provided for storing your drinks and snacks. Why not picnic in the garden at lunchtime and then enjoy an alfresco meal cooked on the poolside barbecue during the evening? Delicious!
